- Dry Creek and Alexander Valley
You’ll embark on your journey from the airport to the west as your pilot guides you through the heart of Dry Creek Valley towards Lake Sonoma. After touring the lake you will cross the ridge into Alexander Valley where the helicopter will follow the gentle flows of the Russian River past Fitch Mountain and overfly historic downtown Healdsburg.
30 Minute Tours - $240 per person (minimum 2 passengers) “$175 from KSTS”
- Seaside Cliff and Russian River
Your experienced pilot will guide you south through the Russian River Valley as it flows to the Pacific Ocean. You’ll be immersed with mountain views as an expanse of coastal redwoods gives way to majestic ocean scenery at the seaside town of Jenner. You’ll then head north to Fort Ross state park and follow the shoreline, where white capped waves crash on weathered sea cliffs. From there you will turn inland and fly over the densely forested coastline and the Annapolis appalachia before returning to Dry Creek Valley.
- Nothing but Wine Country
Upon a departure to the west we will follow Dry Creek road towards Lake Sonoma meandering over the creek itself through the heart of the valley. After crossing the Lake Sonoma dam you will explore the far corners of the lake before climbing over the ridge to the east and descending into Alexander Valley. Following the Russian River south you will view a plethora of wineries before crossing into Knights Valley exploring the base of Mount Saint Helena.
60 Minute Tour - $355 per person (minimum 2 passengers) “$290 from KSTS”
- Redwood Coast and Buddhist Temple
There is simply no better way to experience your journey to the coast than to follow the meandering bends of the river. At the town of Jenner you’ll head north and hug the shoreline en route to Salt Point and the Odiyan Buddhist Temple. On sunny days emerald bays scattered up the coast will provide almost tropical views. You’ll circle the temple before making your way across oak and pine covered mountain ridges to Lake Sonoma. Your pilot will fly down the southwest estuary before descending into the scenic Alexander Valley. The return will give views of grapevine covered rural landscape before landing back at the Healdsburg Airport.
